adventure leadership retreat
“It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends.” - Dumbledore speaking to Harry Potter (age 11).
This leadership weekend is designed for girls currently in their formative middle school years. Honesty, Integrity, and Courage are the three values focused on in this weekend. We will spend two days exploring and encouraging these values through a variety of activities and mediums.
We will stay together in Wilton and enjoy the lake and beautiful winter surroundings. Upon arriving on the first afternoon, we will work together to create an environment in which the girls feel comfortable and excited about confronting what honesty, integrity, and courage mean to them personally. The days will be filled with activities that are challenging on many levels while also intriguing and accessible for every girl. At night we will make dinner together and sit by the wood stove reflecting on our day and playing games to unwind before bed.
